Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Bartender to join our team at Prosperous Penny, our speakeasy where sophisticated décor, residential comfort, and a bold bar program come together to create a lively and memorable social experience.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about craft cocktails, guest connection, and delivering an elevated bar experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing creativity to every pour, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Two or three years of previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu, following recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests with the food server and check against the original order; anticipate guest needs and respond to concerns.
• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Maintain an accurate inventory count and log entries for voids and spillage; prepare garnishes.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Maintain an accurate inventory count, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.

What You Bring

• Two or three years previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
