Job summary

Kent State University is seeking an Admissions Visit Coordinator at the Kent Campus in Kent, OH to represent the university to prospective students and families. You will help develop on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruitment programs and manage tour guides and guest check-in at the Tour Center.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience; strong verbal and written communications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience.
• Knowledge of FERPA and university recruiting practices.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications; public speaking.
• Proficient with personal computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of recruitment programs and events on-campus, off-campus, and online.
• Represent the University to prospective students, families, counselors, alumni, and staff; disseminate information.
• Provide admissions information sessions at the Kent State Tour Center and manage guest check-in and tour guides.
• Travel regionally and/or nationally for recruitment events as needed.
• Serve as Counselor on duty handling inquiries from prospective students and counselors.
• May supervise staff or students on project-based work.
