Job summary

Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst to join the Prospect Development & Decision Support team. The role focuses on turning prospect data into actionable insights to guide fundraising strategies and optimize portfolio management.

Hybrid work requires two days per week in Madison, WI. You will work with development officers and analytics teams to improve portfolio assignments, reporting, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• 1+ year(s)’ experience in prospect research, prospect management, development, or information field.
• Experience with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to become fluent in SQL, Salesforce, and Power BI.
• Understanding of information management in a database structure.
• Ability to discern data quality discrepancies that require investigation.
• Experience with SQL and/or relational databases to perform queries and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Consult with development colleagues during portfolio review meetings to advise on composition and activity.
• Partner with new Development Directors and Prospect Identification Analyst to establish portfolios.
• Collaborate to identify, evaluate, and assign top prospects for the University.
• Coordinate with BI and analytics teams to deploy systems for better prospect management and reporting.
• Implement prospect management strategies and processes to motivate activity.
• Train colleagues on prospect management policies and system processes.
