Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Propulsion Test Technician to join our defense aviation team in Jacksonville, TX. You will develop, maintain, and operate propulsion test hardware to ensure engine reliability and performance on cutting-edge aircraft programs.

You will work across test rigs, assist with high-pressure systems, instrumentation, and data collection, and support flight-test campaigns. A hands-on, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent certificate.
• Experience in hardware assembly, test, and/or facility/infrastructure build-out.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to read and provide feedback on technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and operate propulsion test hardware (including facilities and test rigs).
• Participate in test operations, including configuration of high pressure, hazardous, fluid systems, connecting instrumentation, controlling hazardous areas, troubleshooting instrumentation and test hardware, and monitoring test video and data.
• Build, test, modify, and inspect test articles.
• Build, modify, and troubleshoot new or existing test equipment which ranges from fluid systems, mechanical assemblies, data and control systems, and instrumentation.
