Job summary

Hermeus Corporation is seeking a Propulsion Test Technician to develop, maintain, and operate propulsion test hardware for rapid prototyping of aircraft engines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance of propulsion systems.

The role involves configuration of hazardous/test environments, building and inspecting test articles, and coordinating with flight test campaigns in a fast-paced, defense-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Experience in hardware assembly, test, or facility build-out.
• Ability to read and feedback on technical documents.
• Willing to travel for propulsion/flight test campaigns.
• Able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and operate propulsion test hardware and facilities.
• Participate in test operations, configure high pressure, hazardous systems, and instrumentation.
• Build, test, modify, and inspect test articles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and integrate test hardware including fluid and electrical systems.
