Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Test Specialist for multiple shifts to support components test operations for Falcon, Dragon, and Starship programs. You will design, build, run and maintain test stands and fixtures for valves, regulators and actuators operating in extreme environments.
The role requires hands-on fabrication and troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, experience with high pressure and cryogenic operations, and collaboration with
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design of test fixtures, test setups, and test stands for production or development.
- Independently fabricate and assemble instrumentation, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Perform tests per procedures and design requirements.
- Summarize and distribute test data and preliminary results to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead anomaly investigations and drive resolutions.
- Provide testing support for production when needed.
- Assist in tracking and servicing calibrated instrumentation.
