Job summary

Astra CoreX, Inc. (ACX) seeks an Electronics/Software Test Engineer to own the assembly, instrumentation, and testing of propulsion hardware for our launch vehicles.

You will assemble, instrument, and test components, subsystems, and complete vehicles under guidance from subject matter experts. Responsibilities include integrating instrumentation, performing DAQ setup and test execution, writing test plans and safety reviews, supporting hardware tests and fixture design, and documenting results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience testing rocket-powered launch vehicles.
• Strong proficiency with Python and LabVIEW.
• Experience developing test software and analyzing test data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizen with eligibility for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate instrumentation: pressure, temperature, and strain.
• Perform DAQ setup, calibration, and test execution.
• Write test plans, safety reviews, and reports.
• Support build of propulsion hardware and test articles.
• Support design of fixtures, mounts, stands, and launchers.
