Job summary

Quantum Space seeks a Mechanical Engineer II - Tank Development Lead to own propulsion tank hardware from requirements through testing. You will design, analyze, and coordinate with propulsion, AIT, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, high-performance tank hardware for next-generation spacecraft.

You will develop CAD drawings in Creo, apply GD&T, and drive interface closure while coordinating with suppliers for design reviews and verification plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of aerospace hardware development experience.
• Strong Creo and GD&T fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical components/subsystems end-to-end from requirements to integration.
• Develop CAD/drawings in Creo; apply GD&T and inspectable requirements.
• Drive interface closure: envelopes, fastener patterns, datums, alignment.
