Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks engineers to perform analysis, design, or testing of propulsion systems for launch vehicles, missile systems, and space missions, applying established engineering principles to meet mission requirements. The role is on-site at our Rocket Center, WV location with no remote option.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Technical Data Package, MRB support, BOM maintenance, and FMEA activities. Candidates should hold a BS or MS in mechanical/aerospace engineering, be a U.S.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (Level 2) with 2 years of related work experience or MS with 3 years (Level 3)
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Maintain approved Technical Data Package (TDP)
  • Provide MRB support for all product and material issues
  • Establish/maintain Engineering BOM
  • Review/approve product manufacturing work instructions and ensure TDP compliance
  • Support technical intercourses between customers and vendors
  • Lead technical IPT activities
  • Define requirements for material obsolescence replacement/qualification/test/implementation
  • Provide technical support to sub-contractors and monitor processes
