Job summary

RTX in Tucson is seeking engineers to integrate propulsion, thrusters, controllers, and software for missile and space vehicle systems. This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will lead propulsion development projects, coordinate with suppliers, review manufacturing processes, deliver technical briefings to management and government agencies, and interact with customers to capture user needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM field by start date.
• Experience developing solid propulsion systems from concept to test.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced propulsion technologies to missile and space-vehicle integration.
• Involve development and production programs across Raytheon lines.
• Review manufacturing processes and coordinate with subcontractors on propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with program management on long-range tech directions.
• Manage propulsion development projects and subcontracts; review data and changes.
• Deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies.
• Interface with customers to identify user needs.
