Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer to build high‑quality software across a small, high‑impact team. You will drive automated testing, develop front-end tools with React, and back-end services with GoLang and PostgreSQL, while supporting hardware test interfaces.

You will help unify data acquisition, telemetry and real‑time systems into robust architectures and shape the QA strategy across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing and development.
• Experience building automated test frameworks (unit, integration, E2E).
• Experience designing tests for distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficiency with React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Ability to document QA processes and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for frontend, backend and integrated systems.
• Lead end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance testing efforts.
• Own scalable QA processes and documentation in collaboration with hardware/test teams.
