Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Specialist, Project and Component Engineer in Canoga Park, CA to support pressurant and propellant components across defense programs. The role collaborates with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful component completion.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, with CREO and Windchill knowledge preferred. US security clearance may be needed; up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, determine approaches to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding of engineering principles.
• Production and fabrication support system assemblies in rocket engine components.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and multiple engineering disciplines to refine specifications and test plans.
• Interface with project teams to provide coordination of technical, schedule, and cost solutions.
• Up to 10% travel to suppliers and production sites.
