Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a propulsion program leader to drive lifecycle cost analysis, reliability improvements, and fleet optimization for the FedEx airline fleet. You will coordinate maintenance, engineering, and supplier activities to deliver cost-effective, compliant propulsion solutions.

The role requires an A&P license, seven years of experience, and strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills. On-site Memphis TN location; five-days-per-week at FedEx facility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Airline/Aviation Management, Engineering, Finance, or other quantitative discipline.
• Seven (7) years professional, exempt experience including propulsion fleet or program management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams with emphasis on reliability and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion program execution and cross‑functional teams to optimize fleet strategies.
• Develop business cases using financial modeling for lifecycle cost and asset utilization.
• Negotiate propulsion-related contracts and oversee performance against commitments.
• Provide market intelligence on MRO capacity and regulatory changes to influence fleet strategy.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness, safety, and regulatory requirements.
