Job summary

Craig Technologies is seeking a Propulsion Plumbing Design and Fabrication Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX and Merritt Island, FL. The role involves designing propulsion system plumbing, generating detailed manufacturing drawings, and supporting clean-room assembly and orbital welding for high-reliability space hardware.

The engineer will oversee fabrication, tubing routing, and integration activities for flight propulsion hardware, while also contributing to test setups and anomaly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• Experience with CAD-based mechanical design, fluid routing, and detailing including formal fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with high-pressure fluid or spacecraft pressure systems.
• Experience with orbital tube welding processes or weld inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing workflows, quality travelers, material certifications, or build records.

Responsibilities

• Design and route propulsion plumbing including high-pressure tubing and fluid interfaces.
• Generate CAD models, fabrication drawings, and build documentation for flight hardware.
• Support clean-room assembly, orbital welding procedures, and non-destructive inspection practices.
