Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, CAD experience (CREO or SolidWorks), and familiarity with high‑pressure fluid systems, orbital welding, and aerospace workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Direct experience in CAD-based mechanical design and detailed drawings.
• Working understanding of high-pressure fluid or spacecraft pressure systems.
• Experience with orbital tube welding processes or weld inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and route spacecraft propulsion system plumbing, including high-pressure tubing, fittings, isolators, brackets, and interfaces.
• Generate and maintain detailed CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and build documentation for flight hardware.
• Develop welding fixtures and support clean-room orbital welding procedures and NDIs.
• Provide engineering oversight of fabrication, assembly, and integration for flight propulsion hardware.
