Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer for Starlink propulsion to develop and optimize production processes for the Argon Hall Thruster, propellant feed systems, and satellite structure. You will work with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and timely delivery of satellite hardware.

Responsibilities include managing test operations, evaluating designs for manufacturability, and collaborating across engineering disciplines to solve

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing or project management.
  • Experience with propulsion, thermal, electrical, or structural integration.
  • Understanding of test methods and data acquisition.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX/SolidWorks/CATIA/Inventor).
  • Documentation and configuration management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage integration build flow and test operations.
  • Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
  • Interface with engineers and technicians to optimize production.
  • Challenge processes and improve satellite hardware reliability.
  • Maintain ownership of the production line, tooling, and safety.
  • Enable day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow.
  • Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and improvements.
