Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Field Service Representative for Propulsion Systems in Massachusetts. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of propulsion equipment under maintenance contracts, with up to 50% travel internationally and domestically.

Certification and careful QA/QC adherence are essential. Ideal applicants have a high school diploma and 5+ years in marine technology/field service, plus proficiency with MS Office and a US DoD security clearance

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Marine technology and/or field services.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Eligible to receive and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship; driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning work on equipment in accordance with the maintenance contract(s).
Evaluate parts for repair and/or replacement; oversee repair activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Verify dimensions and clearances to ensure conformance to specifications and conduct tests and inspections to QA/QC standards.
Create a record of work accomplished to form the basis of an on-going customer management plan.
Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
