Job summary

Anduril seeks an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA to lead propulsion-related hardware development, validation, and continuous improvement. You will design schematics, lay out PCBs, select components, and bring boards up using Altium, while solving root-cause issues from manufacturing and field use.

The role spans analog, digital, and power electronics, supporting hardware/software integration and lifecycle verification in collaboration with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Must be US Citizen.
• Full-cycle PCB design experience including schematic capture, PCB layout, board bring-up, debugging, and design changes in Altium.
• Strong analog electronics background with sensors, op amps, comparators, and signal conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Support development, validation, and continuous improvement of propulsion-related electronic hardware systems.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and board bring-up.
• Conduct root cause investigations of hardware field/manufacturing failures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve reliability and scalability of products.
• Support design verification, qualification testing, and hardware/software integration.
