Impulse Space in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Propulsion Components Manufacturing Engineer to help build and fabricate propulsion and vehicle-control components. You will work with propulsion component designers to move hardware from drawings to fabricated assemblies and integrate them onto our vehicles.

This hands-on role requires DFx focus, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to lead production processes in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Physics required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in hardware manufacturing, testing, or troubleshooting.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability and complex assemblies.
• Hands-on fabrication tools experience (power tools, welding, machining).
• Ability to take ownership and work well in small teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own all aspects of propulsion component manufacturing from concept to rate production.
• Drive development, build, assembly, and testing of propulsion hardware.
• Create robust assembly/test instructions and fixtures for high-rate manufacturing.
• Lead process improvements with design engineers to reduce cost and cycle time.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, shops, and suppliers to optimize manufacturability.
