Quantum Space is seeking a Propulsion Engineer II to advance propellant tanks, pumps, and propulsion systems for Ranger missions. You will perform fluid and CFD analyses, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to flight-ready propulsion hardware throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, modeling excellence, and rapid execution in a fast-paced space program, with on-site opportunities in Rockville, MD or Hawthorne, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Aerospace/Mechanical Eng.
• 3+ years' propulsion or fluid systems experience.
• Experience with piping analyses using SINDA/FLUINT or GFSSP.
• Experience with CFD VOF and plume analyses using CFD tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute piping network analyses for propulsion and fluid systems.
• Conduct CFD analyses including VOF and plume analyses.
• Perform propulsion system trade studies and technical evaluations.
• Develop engineering analyses, models, and documentation for propulsion hardware.
