Quantum Space in Tulsa, OK is seeking a hands-on Technician II – Propulsion to support the assembly, integration, testing, and fueling of spacecraft propulsion systems for Ranger missions. In this role you will work closely with propulsion and manufacturing teams to deliver flight-ready hardware in a fast-paced development environment.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, precise mechanical assembly, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in assembly, integration, and test in aerospace/high-reliability industries.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and meet quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and procedures.
• Familiarity with precision mechanical assembly techniques and fluid systems.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Perform AI&T activities for development and flight propulsion systems and components.
• Execute hazardous fueling and propellant handling in accordance with procedures and safety protocols.
• Support propulsion hardware integration, verification, qualification, and mission readiness.
• Troubleshoot propulsion hardware, fluid systems, and test equipment; assist root-cause analysis.
• Provide feedback to engineering to improve propulsion designs and production efficiency.
• Perform leak checks, pressure testing, and propulsion subsystem testing.
• Support spacecraft assembly, environmental testing, and launch campaign prep.
• Maintain build records and test documentation per quality standards.
• Operate safely in a fast-paced, high-reliability development environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in propulsion manufacturing.
