Job summary

DAVIS Construction seeks a Pursuits Specialist to support the project procurement process and pursue new business. You will develop, coordinate, and write multidisciplinary proposals, ensuring brand standards are maintained across all materials and coordinating with Market Sector groups.

The role emphasizes strategic guidance, content creation, and compliance with procurement requirements, with a base salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing or Construction related field, or equivalent experience
• At least five (5) years of previous; minimum of two (2) years of which should be specifically with proposal and presentation development responsibilities
• Experience with private + public sector proposal processes and GSA forms
• Strong technical writing, editing and proofreading experience
• Expert organizational and time management skills to coordinate projects and people, prioritize and track multiple projects
• Proficiency with MS Office and presentation programs like Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to write creatively and tailor messages to different audiences
• Knowledge of A/E/C industry dynamics and touchpoints
• Certifications such as APMP and LEED are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and submit multidisciplinary and collaborative proposals to private and public sector clients
• Coordinate proposal responses and team assignments; support proposal development and writing
• Write and edit proposal narratives; serve as proposal liaison to Market Sector groups
• Champion and maintain DAVIS brand standards across all materials
• Lead template creation, checklists, and boilerplate documents to support proposal development
• Provide strategic guidance during the proposal and presentation process
• Ensure compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements
• Maintain and update project descriptions, resumes, and certifications for proposals
