Job summary

Emerson in the United States is seeking a DCS Proposals Engineer to develop clear, accurate technical proposals based on customer needs and specifications, and to coordinate with Regional/Project Engineering teams.

You will review customer orders, support retrofit proposals, and present solutions while collaborating across departments to drive success in North America Power Projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided
• Knowledge of Ovation™ or other DCS preferred
• Knowledge in proposal development, cost estimating, or project engineering preferred
• Experience with application and process automation systems and Distributed Control Systems preferred
