Zermount Inc. is seeking a motivated Proposal Writer - Cybersecurity to join our proposal and BD team. This role involves leading new opportunities and recompetes, developing winning strategies, and supporting stakeholders to enhance capture efforts and increase efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead proposal and capture process improvements.
2. Craft highly technical and compliant proposals responding to government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs related to cybersecurity.
3. Ensure proposal responses meet federal cybersecurity requirements.
4. Track opportunities and gather preliminary information for Bid/No-Bid decisions.
5. Support partnership interactions and manage documentation for prime-sub opportunities.
6. Develop and improve the company's capture process.
7. Lead solicitation response development.
8. Gather intelligence on federal cybersecurity trends, threats, and initiatives.
9. Support shaping of cybersecurity strategies and offerings.
10. Manage proposal process design and enhancement.
11. Produce schedules, templates, compliance matrices, and facilitate proposal meetings.
12. Guide technical content creation with subject matter experts.
13. Write/edit proposal documents to reflect win strategies and technical solutions.
14. Support proposal operations, including boilerplate library development and process improvements.
15. Lead and host proposal review meetings.
16. Build proposal budgets and cost proposals.
17. Ensure proposal compliance with solicitation requirements.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. 2-5 years of experience in Business Development, Capture Management, Proposal Management, or Program Management.
2. Understanding of federal acquisition policies, processes, and laws.
3. Experience with the full proposal lifecycle.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Experience managing proposal responses and implementing processes and templates.
6. Experience with capture efforts and understanding customer missions.
7. Ability to develop solutions and content with a focus on bid pricing and technical strategies.
8. Knowledge of US Government contracting and procurement processes.
9. Strong research, analysis, and presentation skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, or related fields; professional experience may suffice.

Certifications

• ITILv3, PMP, Security+, Scrum Master, CM, or APMP certifications required.

Location

Zermount HQ in Arlington, VA. Remote work may be authorized occasionally.
