Job summary

Jobtailor in Utah is seeking an experienced proposal writer to manage the full lifecycle of proposals, from kickoff to delivery, coordinating with subject matter experts and marketing teammates to ensure compelling, compliant responses.

You will craft winning narratives, edit and produced documents with Adobe InDesign, and ensure brand consistency across all materials while meeting tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proposal writing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering, or construction) industry preferred.
• Familiarity with public‑sector procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and SF‑330 submissions.
• Technical and creative writing and desktop publishing skills.
• Strong technical and creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Desktop publishing and document production skills (e.g., Adobe InDesign and Acrobat).
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical staff.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and brand consistency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full life cycle of proposal development, organization, and production.
