Job summary

Aerosapien Technologies is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to lead end-to-end proposal development for government and commercial customers. From opportunity analysis through final submission, you will own the proposal lifecycle and craft winning, compliant submissions that clearly convey our mission and value.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and strategy to translate technical inputs into polished narratives, graphics, and structured proposal components

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, Sciences, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or grant writing.
• Familiarity with federal solicitation types (RFP, RFI, RFQ, BAA, NOFO) and the full proposal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development—from opportunity analysis to final submission—for government and commercial customers.
• Craft persuasive, technically accurate content that clearly communicates our mission, capabilities, solutions and value proposition.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and strategy teams to translate technical inputs into polished narratives and proposal components.
• Ensure full compliance with RFP/RFI/BAA requirements, including format, structure, evaluation criteria, and submission protocols.
• Manage proposal timelines and workflows, including content collection, technical reviews, color-team reviews, and final production.
• Develop reusable proposal assets, including boilerplate text, past performance summaries, capability statements, and standard graphics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development - from opportunity analysis and outline creation to final submission - for government (e.g., DoD, SBIR, NASA) and commercial customers
• Craft persuasive, technically accurate content that clearly communicates our mission, capabilities, solutions, and value proposition
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and strategy teams to translate technical inputs into polished narratives, graphics, and structured proposal components
• Ensure full compliance with RFP/RFI/BAA requirements, including format, structure, evaluation criteria, and submission protocols
• Manage proposal timelines and workflows, including content collection, technical reviews, color-team reviews, and final production
• Develop reusable proposal assets, including boilerplate text, past performance summaries, capability statements, and standard graphics

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or grant writing - preferably supporting government (DoD, SBIR/STTR, NASA, FAA, DOT) and/or commercial proposals
• Proven ability to write clear, persuasive, and technically accurate content under tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of federal solicitation types (RFP, RFI, RFQ, BAA, NOFO) and the full proposal lifecycle
• Working knowledge of federal portals and systems (Grants.gov, SAM.gov, SBIR.gov, eSubmission/agency-specific platforms)
• Familiarity with compliance requirements - formatting, page limits, evaluation criteria, and submission protocols
