Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Proposal Scheduler to support the development of pre-award schedules for EPC and infrastructure bids. You will partner with estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to create preliminary CPM schedules and establish project timelines.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of construction or engineering experience, familiarity with Primavera P6, and advanced Excel skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; in-office schedule with ~15% travel.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of construction or scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, macros, and data analysis.
• Exposure to estimating, preconstruction, or bid scheduling is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary CPM schedules using Primavera P6 for construction and EPC proposals.
• Review RFPs, scope documents, drawings, and specifications to identify schedule requirements and milestones.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to establish durations and sequencing.
• Identify critical path activities, constraints, and schedule risks.
• Support schedule narratives, proposal exhibits, and bid submissions.
• Assist with resource loading, cost loading, and cash flow projections.

This role partners with estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop preliminary CPM schedules, establish project timelines, and support competitive proposal submissions.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of construction or engineering experience, familiarity with Primavera P6, and strong Excel skills. Exposure to estimating, preconstruction, or bid scheduling is highly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Develop preliminary CPM schedules using Primavera P6 for construction and EPC proposals.

What You'll Bring

• 1–4 years of construction, engineering, or scheduling experience; internships and co-ops welcome.
• Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, macros, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Preconstruction, estimating, bid development, or proposal scheduling.
• EPC, utility, energy infrastructure, or heavy construction projects.
• Resource-loaded schedules, Earned Value Management, or linear scheduling.

Ideal Candidate

An early-career construction or engineering professional with Primavera P6 exposure and an understanding of construction sequencing who can translate project requirements into preliminary bid schedules. Prior pre-award or proposal scheduling experience is a strong advantage.
