JOB DESCRIPTION:

Anchor Planning is seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Proposal & Marketing Specialist to join our team near Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role is the perfect fit for a professional who loves the strategy of winning new business through RFP responses but also possesses a strong creative eye for graphic design and content management.

You will own the end-to-end proposal process, from writing and populating technical responses to designing high-impact visual layouts that make our bids stand out. When not working on active proposals, you will manage our core marketing content, case studies, and digital assets.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• RFP & Proposal Management: Own the full lifecycle of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. Analyze requirements, establish timelines, gather technical inputs, and ensure 100% compliant, on-time submissions.
• Content Writing & Population: Write, edit, and populate compelling proposal narratives. You will synthesize complex, technical information from subject matter experts into persuasive, client-facing text.
• Graphic Design & Layout: Design professional, visually stunning layouts for proposals, presentations, covers, tabs, and interview materials. Ensure all deliverables strictly adhere to brand guidelines.
• Content Library Management: Maintain, organize, and regularly update our centralized database of boilerplate text, project case studies, team resumes, and graphic assets to streamline future bids.
• Marketing Support: Assist with secondary marketing tasks as needed, including creating collateral, updating website content, or designing graphics for presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience managing RFPs and designing proposals (experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Consulting, or Professional Services is a major plus).
• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign (essential for proposal layout) and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Design Skills: Strong eye for page layout, typography, formatting, and data visualization (infographics, charts, and diagrams).
• Writing Excellence: Exceptional copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills with a sharp eye for grammatical precision.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tight deadlines simultaneously while staying incredibly organized and calm under pressure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, English, or a related field.
• Experience utilizing proposal automation software or advanced CRM platforms.
