Job summary

BEAR Construction Company is seeking a proactive Proposal Coordinator to support project pursuits and marketing initiatives in a Chicago-area setting. You will coordinate proposals, assist with client events, and contribute to branding and communications efforts.

You will work with cross-functional teams to prepare marketing collateral, maintain databases, and ensure materials meet Corporate Brand Standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proofreading ability.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office; Photoshop/Illustrator a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Conscientious, flexible, and a strong team player with a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce marketing collateral for all project opportunities (qualifications, RFQs/RFPs, interviews, follow-up materials).
• Produce marketing collateral such as resumes, project sheets, brochures, and other boilerplate content; ensure brand consistency.
• Print, bind, and package materials as needed.
• Edit photos and create graphics/charts for collateral.
• Audit and maintain marketing databases and track project pursuits and activities.
• Collaborate with Business Development, HR, IT, Training, Safety to create high-quality custom packages.
• Guide employees on marketing tools and systems usage; maintain collaborative relationships with marketing staff.
• Assist with special projects and events, including employee and client communications.
