Job summary

HDR is seeking a Proposal Manager who will drive pursuit strategies, craft winning proposals and manage delivery of marketing materials. You’ll collaborate with technical staff and marketing resources across HDR’s Transportation Business Group. This role emphasizes strong writing, editing and presentation skills, leadership in cross-functional teams, and the ability to travel as needed to engage clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated self-starter with history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning).
• Develop persuasive proposal and interview materials and manage schedules.
• Engage marketing services resources and lead quality reviews of materials.
• Lead pursuit strategy meetings and debriefs to improve competitiveness.
• Coordinate with graphic designers to create pursuit figures and graphics.
