Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials in the United States is seeking a Proposal Manager – Flex to lead development of high-quality FSP proposals across Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Writing, Regulatory, and other lines.

You will coordinate strategy with BD, Flex Solutions and Operations, manage deadlines, incorporate financial terms, and ensure timely client submissions while maintaining exceptional written and oral communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business Management, Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industry.
  • Experience developing complex FSP proposals and budgets across one or more clinical development functions is strongly preferred.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of FSP proposals across Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and other service lines.
  • Coordinate and lead internal strategy meetings for proposal review; submit final proposals by due date with BD approval.
  • Define proposal strategy with BD, Flex Solutions and Operations; manage information gathering and deadlines.
  • Incorporate agreed financial aspects into proposals with BD and Finance.
  • Collaborate with BD on client deliverables and update internal tracking systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What The Proposal Manager Does At Worldwide

The Proposal Manager – Flex works with cross functional contributors to develop high quality and compelling proposals to support fit‑for‑purpose Functional Service Provider (FSP) solutions. Primarily responsible for ensuring that our written proposal documents and pricing solutions align appropriately with the proposed strategy and are completed within appropriate timelines and quality standards.

What You Will Do
  • Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Lead the development of FSP proposals across Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Writing, Regulatory, and other functional service lines.
  • Work with BD, Flex Solutions and Operations to help define the proposal strategy, coordinating and leading internal meetings for strategy and proposal review, and submitting final proposal documents to clients on or before due date as agreed with BD.
  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, implementation, reviews and approvals
  • Work with BD and Finance to implement agreed financial aspects into our proposals.
  • Collaborate with BD as needed on client deliverables.
  • Update the internal tracking system
  • Other duties as requested or assigned by supervisor

What You Bring To The Role
  • Knowledge of FSP and strategic workforce outsourcing models preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business Management, Finance or related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industry
  • Experience developing complex FSP proposals and budgets across one or more clinical development functions is strongly preferred, including Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, or related disciplines
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.

Salary

The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):

United States of America - $65,000.00 - $129,000.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
