The ideal candidate has APMP certifications, a strong track record in federal proposals, and experience guiding cross-functional teams through kickoff to final delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing proposals in the federal sector.
• Proven success in developing winning proposals.
• Familiarity with MS Professional tools.
• APMP Practitioner certification required.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred.
• APMP Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the entire proposal process from start to finish.
• Create outlines and schedules for proposals while ensuring compliance with amendments.
• Guide proposal writers and contributors from both inside and outside the organization.
• Extract critical proposal-related information through targeted questions and interviews.
• Write and refine key sections of the proposal document.
• Edit and organize the complete proposal for final submission.
• Lead collaborative meetings such as storyboarding and kickoff sessions.

For our client, we are seeking a Proposal Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will oversee the full proposal lifecycle, ensuring submissions are organized, compliant, and positioned to win in a competitive federal contracting environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with subject matter experts, writers, and stakeholders to develop persuasive, high-quality proposals. Success in this role will require strong project management, editorial judgment, and the ability to lead collaborative proposal development efforts from kickoff through final delivery.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $142,000 – $175,000 annually
