Utility Global is seeking a Proposal Development Engineer to support technical proposal development and early-stage project activities. Reporting to the Director of Project Development, this role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Business Development, and Projects and plays a meaningful role in shaping technically sound, commercially competitive proposals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with exposure to feasibility studies, FEL execution, or technical proposal development.
• Strong foundation in core engineering principles (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer).
• Familiarity with process simulation and design tools such as ProMax (preferred), Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UNISIM
• Experience producing engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and cost or schedule inputs.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in the ambiguity typical of early-stage and first-of-a-kind projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop customer-specific technical and economic proposals using process simulation tools (ProMax preferred).
• Perform CAPEX, OPEX, and Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) evaluations.
• Prepare technical documentation and respond to clarifications during proposal evaluations.
• Improve internal tools, workflows, and assumptions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in FEL deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and preliminary cost and schedule estimates.
• Work with process, mechanical, and project engineering teams to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are met.
