Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is a leading power delivery contractor delivering transmission lines, substations and renewable energy projects across the U.S.

The Proposal Coordinator will work with Project Managers and Estimators to stay aligned on bid requirements, maintain detailed bid files, and assist with preparation, review and submittal of bids, contracts, RFIs and reports. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in related fields, an associates or bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a related field.
• Experience with proposal processes and bid submissions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to foster relationships and work in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed and organized bids and job files.
• Assist with preparation, review and submittal of bids, contracts, RFIs and reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Estimators on project needs and bids.
• Ensure submission deadlines and guidelines are met.

As a Proposal Coordinator, you will effectively communicate with Project Managers and Estimators to stay informed of project needs while helping satisfy the terms and conditions of bids and contracts with the customer. Maintain detailed and organized bids and job files. Assist with the preparation, review and submittal of bids, contracts, RFIs and reports in accordance with division and company policies and procedures.

What it takes:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years experience in related field
• Experience or familiarity with proposal processes, as well as an exposure to the construction industry
• Analyzing RFP requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines and deadlines
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively in a teamwork manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
