Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA seeks a Proposal Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to join the proposal team and develop plans and schedules for bid submissions. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's with 3 years, plus ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Will coordinate cost, scheduling and technical data required for proposals. Level 3/4 qualifications include successful completion of pricing reviews and preparation of certified cost data.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has opportunities for Proposal Analysts (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our team in San Diego, California.

The selected candidates will join our proposal team to: Develop, plans and schedules proposals. Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Prepare proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers This position may be filled at either the Level 3 or Level 4 Proposal Analyst depending upon candidates, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

Level 3 Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S.Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. FAR/DFAR Knowledge

Level 4 Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree AND 8 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 6 years of experience. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S.Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. FAR/DFAR Knowledge

Preferred Qualifications: Active U.S.Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

  • Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
  • Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  • Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
