Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Lead Proposal Analyst to drive cost estimates, pricing strategy, and financial analysis for winning proposals. You will coordinate with the proposal team and BU directors to ensure compliant, competitive pricing reflecting best cost and risk factors.

The role requires strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint, FAR knowledge, and experience with ProPricer and SAP in a manufacturing/high-tech setting.

• Familiarity with Military and Aerospace markets is helpful.
• 2–4 years of related experience in manufacturing or high-tech environments.

Responsabilidades

• Support Business Unit and Proposal Manager with all cost and pricing aspects of proposals.
• Capture engineering Basis of Estimates (BOE).
• Capture product costs from actuals and inputs from Product Manager.
• Perform pricing for development/production contracts.
• Support RFP to Award including negotiations on pricing and cost/pricing RFIs.
• Prepare Cost Volumes & Sweep Packages.
• Maintain/update direct/indirect rates in ProPricer.
• Prepare pricing packages and present to leadership for approvals.
• Prepare Consolidated Bill of Materials.
• Collaborate with procurement to verify material cost basis.
• Costing for 3rd party items as needed.
• Coordinate with team to validate proposal needs and material costing.
• Secure timely approvals for proposal pricing.
• Develop strategies for efficient costing/pricing models with repeatability.
• Lead/post-award analysis and lessons learned.
• Support multiple stakeholders (BU Directors, PMs, Proposal Mgmt).
• Work with Finance to optimize proposal cost/pricing tools to be more effective.

Proposal Analyst, Lead- Onsite Position

We have a rewarding opportunity for a _ Proposal Analyst, Lead _ to join our Defense Solutions Team in Santa Clarita, CA

As our Proposal Analyst, Lead you will be responsible for providing cost estimates, financial analysis, and pricing strategy support in the development of winning proposals for the Integrated Systems business unit and also support as required, other business units within Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions.

A key skill set for you will be the ability to manage the development of proposed cost and resulting pricing in accordance with company policies and financial goals. will work with the proposal team to ensure that proposals reflect the best cost basis and factors that supports informed pricing decisions.

Location: _ Santa Clarita, CA- Onsite _

Salary Range: 108,900.00 - 145,200.00 USD annual per year plus bonus

Your Challenge

As a member of the proposal team, the primary responsibility is to support the Business Unit and Proposal Manager with all cost and pricing aspects of individual proposals, including:

• Capture engineering Basis of Estimates (BOE)

• Product cost capture from actuals and/or Product Manager inputs

• Perform pricing for development/production type contracts

• Support proposal from RFP to Award (including negotiations pricing and answering to cost/pricing RFIs)

• Prepare Cost Volumes & Sweep Packages

• Maintain/Update direct/indirect rates in ProPricer

• Prepare pricing packages and present to leadership at pricing reviews for approvals

• Prepare Consolidated Bill of Materials

• Working with procurement as needed to gather and verify material cost basis.

• Manage and capture costing for any 3rd party items that may be required.

• Coordinate with team to provide proposal needs and validation of material costing.

• Secure timely approvals for proposal pricing.

• Develop strategies and implement solutions for most efficient costing/pricing models with an eye to repeatability, considering market factors and eventual risk & reward of offered pricing/terms.

• Support/Lead targeted costing and pricing models/analysis/closed loop analysis (post award actuals compared to bid values) and provide lessons learned and recommendations to the applicable business units.

• Ongoing/timely support to various stakeholders (BU Directors, Product Managers, Proposal Management) as required.

• Works with Finance to optimize proposal cost and pricing tools with objective to make tools more effective, common, and supportive in the assessment of pricing model strategies.

• Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as part of a team, ability to work with cross-functional teams, to follow procedures and use system tools.

• A self-starter, able to work independently and manage concurrent multiple bids and proposals with dynamic priorities.

• Demonstrated ability and resourcefulness in solving often ambiguous problems with little supervision.

• Experience with cost/revenue analysis and audits is considered an asset.

• Excellent analytical skills to collect data, understand significance and explain issues; able to take initiatives and recommend solutions / process improvements.

• Excellent technical ability, including ability to work with integrated ERP systems, preferably SAP.

• Ability to present and defend costing / pricing recommendations to senior leadership.

• Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

• A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in Accounting, Engineering and/or Business

• Experience in proposal cost development and cost analysis.

• Knowledge of ProPricer would be an asset (Highly Preferred Skill)

• Familiarity with Military and Aerospace market and customer base is desired, but not mandatory.

• 2-4 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing or high technology environment; or a combination.
