Axle is seeking a Property Technician to join our NIH/NLM team in Bethesda, MD, supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, and delivery of supplies to program areas. The role emphasizes maintaining government property records and ensuring accuracy in the PMIS system.

The position requires an Associate’s degree and 5–7 years of experience, with responsibilities including training, safety compliance, and coordinating mail, equipment delivery, and facilities inspections.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or a field like public administration or accounting.
• 5–7 years of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide property management support to NLM, including storage, inventory, and delivery of supplies.
• Maintain NIH safety standards for warehouse operations.
• Train staff on inventory controls and supply procedures.
• Perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies in PMIS.
• Operate government vehicles in compliance with safety rules.
