Job summary

Axle, a bioscience and IT company partnering with NIH, seeks a Property Technician to support the NIH/NLM operations in Bethesda, MD. You will manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, train staff on delivery procedures, and handle mail, transport, and equipment delivery.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in business or related field and 5–7 years of experience with MS Office, PMIS, and inventory systems; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent in public administration or accounting.
• 5-7 years of experience recording information and entering data in related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NIH safety standards for the warehouse area.
• Train staff on inventory management and delivery procedures.
• Perform detailed cycle counts and research variances.
• Operate the OAMAS Supply system and PMIS records.
• Stock, pull, and deliver supplies; assist in setting up events.
• Receive and distribute mail; provide transportation per policy.
