Job summary

PuroClean of the Chagrin Valley in Chagrin Falls, OH is hiring a Property Restoration Technician to join our hands-on team. You will handle water, fire, and mold remediation on residential and commercial properties, assess damage, and execute drying and cleanup while maintaining safety and communication with customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in remediation or related construction trades, with IICRC WRT/ASD certifications or the ability to obtain them quickly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in water damage mitigation, fire damage remediation, or mold remediation
• IICRC certifications or ability to obtain quickly are required
• Construction trade background is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and mold remediation projects at residential and commercial properties
• Assess damage, develop mitigation plans, and execute drying and remediation work
• Operate restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, moisture meters)
• Document progress, moisture readings, and scope of work accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the restoration process
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete jobs on schedule
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices on every site
