What You'll Do
  • Respond to water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation projects at residential and commercial properties

  • Document job progress, moisture readings, and scope of work accurately
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with Customers throughout the restoration process
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices on every job site
What We're Looking For
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in water damage mitigation, fire damage remediation, or mold remediation; 5-10 years strongly preferred
  • Background in a construction trade (carpentry, drywall, or similar) is a strong plus - we're seeking someone familiar with building structures, methods, and materials
Certifications
  • Required (or ability to obtain quickly): IICRC certifications in Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
  • Preferred: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right
  • Comfortable and capable with hand and power tools
  • Curious and open-minded - willing to keep learning as techniques, equipment, and industry standards evolve
  • A genuine Customer service mindset, with empathy for customers experiencing loss or damage to their property
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence on-site
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry restoration equipment and materials, sometimes weighing 50 lbs. or more
  • Ability to remove damaged personal property and/or building materials, which may involve navigating stairs (including basement access)

  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including damp, dusty, or odorous job sites
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights when needed
Compensation & Schedule
  • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
  • Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Health care insurance benefit offered
  • Ongoing training and support for maintaining and earning additional IICRC certifications
  • Please note: due to the emergency nature of restoration work, after-hours and/or weekend work is required from time to time, as dictated by the needs of a given job
