Job summary

Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Prairie Brook Apartments, a beautiful 153-unit apartment community in Oregon, Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, office administration, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing efforts, marketing initiatives, and apartment tours
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions and concerns
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and contractors
• Conduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness, curb appeal, and safety standards are maintained
• Prepare and maintain reports, including traffic reports, marketing updates, and market surveys
• Support rent collection, lease administration, and resident file management
• Assist with resident retention programs and community events
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to support daily operations and achieve occupancy goals
• Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents
