CSC Management is seeking an Assistant Manager in San Antonio, TX to join our growing team. The role supports the Community Director with overseeing rehab projects, property operations, and coordinating people and resources to maximize occupancy and property value.

You will help keep tenants safe and satisfied, train staff, and maintain compliance across facilities. This position emphasizes strong customer service and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience assisting management of apartment properties.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Dropbox, Google Drive, Entrata.
• Knowledge in basic accounting, reading financial statements, and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rents are collected on due date and deposits reported to corporate daily.
• Approve and submit invoices to corporate office for payment.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and related laws.
• Maintain lease files and ensure proper lease completion.
• Open office on schedule and keep model apartments ready for tours.
• Assist in maintaining records of management activity daily/weekly/monthly.
• Communicate challenges to Property Manager.
• Ensure deadlines are met and calendar activities are timely.
• Maintain positive customer service attitude for a vibrant community.
• Perform move-in/move-out inspections with residents.
• Review notices to vacate to determine move-out causes.
• Implement policies to improve resident communications and service requests.
• Walk property daily; inspect vacant units weekly; ensure temperatures and security.
• Update Make Ready Board; coordinate with maintenance for reconditioning.
• Report liability and incidents to Property Manager immediately.
• Conduct monthly market surveys and compare neighborhood conditions.
• Stay aware of market trends via trade publications and networks.
• Welcome and show property to prospects; handle calls and paperwork.
• Approve and sign lease paperwork and addenda.
• Complete leasing goals weekly.
