Job summary

RentReady Homes, LLC seeks an Assistant Property Manager to help oversee daily operations of single-family rental properties in Plano. You will assist the Property Manager with leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and record-keeping to ensure smooth operations.

This in-office role offers a pathway to full-time employment after a 90–180 day probationary period, with benefits and career growth opportunities. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a property management setting.
• Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to leasing.
• Knowledge of facilities management practices.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle conflicts effectively.
• Proficiency in filing and organizing documents.
• Understanding of Fair Housing regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all aspects of single family property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Maintain accurate records of property-related documents and leases.
• Support in resolving tenant issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure compliance with legal regulations and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Occasional compensated travel to our Houston office.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Assist in conducting property inspections and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
