Job summary

A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. in Northern Virginia seeks a Property Manager to lead on-site teams, drive resident satisfaction, and safeguard asset value.

You will oversee leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff while ensuring strong operational and financial performance across the community. You will coach staff, manage budgets and reporting, and collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities to enhance performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive property management experience, including at least 2 years leading a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree or relevant professional designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of the resident rental lifecycle, property operations, customer service, and financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to coach employees, address performance issues, and build accountable teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management technology preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to maintain an active, visible presence throughout the property.

• Ensure accurate and timely operational and financial reporting.
• Manage risk, compliance, vendor relationships, and adherence to company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Partner with senior leadership and other AJD teams to identify opportunities to strengthen property performance.

We're looking for aProperty Manager who leads with ownership, not just oversight. You'll be the visible leader of your community — developing your team, creating an exceptional resident experience, protecting the asset, and driving strong operational and financial performance.

What You'll Do
