Job summary

Prism Places, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to oversee commercial real estate operations for a portfolio of tenants. You will manage day-to-day leasing, billing, CAM, and financial reporting, ensuring timely collections and strong tenant relations.

You will work under the General Manager, coordinating budgets, capital projects, and owner reporting while adhering to lease terms and company policies. Strong experience with Yardi and finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years as a Property Manager of a major asset or related experience.
• CPM, RPA, or CCRP designation (or progress toward one) preferred.
• Working knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply commercial lease and contract language.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors and hold them accountable to contract terms.
• Independently manage day-to-day tenant accounts receivable and collections.
• Working knowledge of lease-driven billing and recoveries (base rent, CAM, escalations, etc.).
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills; explain balances clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent tenant service and generate work orders for vendors or maintenance staff.
• Develop and maintain positive tenant and owner relationships and prepare operating summaries.
• Conduct regular property inspections for lease compliance and upkeep.
• Review CAM recovery charges and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate vendors and solicit bids; oversee contract performance.
• Review and code invoices; submit for approval per policy.
• Assist in preparing annual operating budget and track performance.
• Coordinate capital projects under the General Manager and schedule work.
• Review financial statements and prepare variance analyses.
• Administer move-ins/outs; review leases and conduct inspections.
• Prepare and enforce lease abstracts and related documents.
• Handle special projects as needed.
• Maintain predictable attendance and confidentiality.
• Be proactive and collaborative across teams to meet goals.
• Respond promptly to communications.
• Independently manage AR for the portfolio including monthly billing, collections, and disputes.
• Prepare AR aging and commentary; recommend reserves or write-offs.
