Westport Properties, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our residential properties.

This full-time exempt role requires strong customer service, budget awareness, and coordinating with maintenance and regional leadership. You will lead leasing efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, train staff, and maximize occupancy and revenue while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management experience.
• Excellent phone and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Willing to work as part of a high-performance team.
• Proficient with email, internet and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of property management software.
• Able to walk the property including stairs.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and follow company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional property management and customer service to residents.
• Complying with all applicable federal, state, county and city regulations.
• Work with maintenance and regional supervisors to ensure timely work and positive atmosphere.
• Coach and train team members as needed.
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors and manage reports.
• Maximize property revenue by optimizing rents and controlling expenses.
• Assist in leasing and resident relations from application to move-out.
