Job summary

Westport Properties, Inc. is hiring a Property Manager Self Storage in Torrance/Carson, CA. The role involves marketing and selling storage solutions, spending time in-office and on-site, and maintaining property appearance.

The position offers Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with weekend shifts and a $20.00–$21.50 hourly pay range. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and mileage reimbursement.

Job Title: Property Manager Self Storage

Reports to: District Manager

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Status: Full-time

Location: Torrance - Carson, CA

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM to 6:00PM Saturday 9:00AM to 6:00PM Sunday 9:00AM to 6:00PM – subject to change; ability to work on weekends.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $21.50 per hour

Travel: 10-25% of the Time

Job Description

• Effectively market and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Work independently, spending time both inside an office and outside on the property
• General property care, cleaning, and maintenance
• Daily property walk to confirm spaces are ready to rent
• Accurate payment processing and cash handling
• Engage with customers to provide an exceptional experience
• Valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation are required to perform the essential functions of the job

Requirements

• Effective 5/7/25 MUST have a Real ID or Passport to travel to San Antonio training center

Physical Requirements

• Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Should be able to walk in and around the property, spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining the property curb appeal
