Job summary

American Landmark Apartments is seeking an experienced Property Manager for Phillips Pass in Houston, TX. The role oversees daily operations of a 168-unit community, directs office staff, handles leasing, and ensures financial and resident-retention initiatives are executed effectively.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in property management, experience with leasing techniques, and familiarity with RealPage/LRO or OneSite. A CAM certification is preferred and a college degree is optional.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry in a similar role.
• Strong customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and OneSite or similar systems is required.
• CAM certification is highly recommended.
• College degree is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise office staff
• Daily property inspections
• Responsible for the property’s leasing
• Knowledge of leasing techniques and sales methods
• Manage property rental information
• Operate the property budget within guidelines
• Interview, screen, and hire staff
• Respond to resident requests with efficiency and courtesy
• Generate required company reports
• Design and implement resident retention programs
