Job summary

Public Storage is hiring Property Managers to work independently across multiple sites, balancing inside tasks with on-site outdoor duties. You will assess customer storage needs and upsell packing supplies, while keeping spaces ready to rent through daily inspections.

You'll audit cash drawers, deposits, and help customers stay current on payments, making reminder and collection calls as needed. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required to travel between locations; ability to lift

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service oriented sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Transportation: valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between locations (mileage reimbursement available).
• Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds and work outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Our Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits as part of daily business.
• Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
