Job summary

Usms Holdco Llc is seeking a Property Manager for apartment communities to be the on-site face of the community and own the resident experience. You will collaborate with onsite techs and AI tools to handle paperwork and ensure a smooth operation.

The role requires walking the property, conducting regular property walks and inspections, and prioritizing resident satisfaction while maintaining high standards. This is an active, on-site position with weekend coverage when needed.

Property Manager – Apartment Communities

We’re redesigning how apartment communities are run.

Paperwork is no longer the center of the job. Each of our communities is led by a Property Manager, who owns the resident experience and partners with our AI tools to handle the paperwork.

We’re looking for the Property Manager.

What the Role Actually Is

You are the primary face of the community for residents and prospects. Your focus is everything resident-centric.

• Building and maintaining strong resident relationships
• Handling resident communication, concerns, and service recovery
• Driving renewal conversations and retention
• Showing apartment homes and converting prospects into residents
• Creating a community atmosphere where people feel known and well cared for

You will work side-by-side with our onsite techs that own unit turns, work orders, landscaping, pools, and valet trash. You own the human side of the property. Together with our techs and AI, you run the community.

This is an active, on-site role—not a desk-centered position. A core part of the job is being physically present throughout the community. You will complete regular property walks and QC inspections of buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds, identify conditions that need attention, document issues, and make sure they are followed through to resolution. Candidates should be comfortable spending a meaningful part of each workday walking and inspecting the property.

Backgrounds that often transfer well include hospitality, customer experience leadership, sales, community management, or any role where you consistently created positive outcomes through attitude and follow-through.

Compensation & Structure

• Total Compensation: $100,000–$110,000
• Full-time, on-site position
• Schedule flexibility, including weekend coverage as needed
